CoQ10
antioxidant COENZYME Q10 OR UBIQUINOL

CoQ10 is one of my favorite supplements. It’s essential for your body to produce both ATP and collagen but it’s also does amazing things for your hearts and lungs. As a smoker that used to teach yoga (I know, I know), I first started taking CoQ10 before teaching my power vinyasa and core classes so I wouldn’t get winded, and it worked amazingly well. The ubiquinol version of CoQ10 is more expensive than the coenyme Q10 version and after trying both, I feel like for me, coenzyme Q10 is just as effective as the ubiquinol version.
Another thing I love about CoQ10 is that it comes in gel caps that you can pierce with a bobby pin and apply some directly to your face. I dab some around my eyes from time to time, not sure of the science behind it, but there must be a reason many beauty and skincare products add it to their formula.
I take coQ10 before intense workouts, and also every night after dinner with my other skincare supplements which include alpha lipoic acid (ALA), vitamin a, vitamin c, vitamin e, hyaluronic acid and selenium.
